Things I am asked:
How do I access the Online Class?
The class is hosted on a private blog and usually 48hrs prior to the Class starting you will receive all the necessary login information to access the site.
How do you teach the lessons?
The Class material is presented via videos that are posted online. I make videos for both CS and Elements users.
I also provide a PDF version of the video instructions and include a snapshot of the layers palette and key points for each lesson.
All the files you need to work on the projects are supplied for you.
Do I have to be online at a specific time?
No, you can come and work on the lessons at any time you choose. New lessons are posted each week and I will send you an email when the new material is live.
How do I ask questions?
Each class has it's own online group where you can post questions and I will answer them, usually within an hour or so. You can also search the archives of the group for answers to questions previously posted or to pick up information that is being discussed by others.
You can also email me ANY time if you wish to keep your questions private.
Do I need Photoshop to do your Classes?
No, you can use Photoshop Elements, either for PC or Mac, a newer version, 6 - 9 is best.
Photoshop Elements 9 is the newest version. You can download a free 30 day trial from Adobe.
The classes are also suitable for Photoshop CS users. Versions CS3 - CS5 are recommended.
I use a Mac. If I get stuck can you help me?
Yes, I use both Mac and PC computers with Photoshop CS and Elements running on both.
The videos are currently presented using CS5 and PSE 9 on a PC with appropriate instructions for Mac users where necessary.
I have an older version of Photoshop, will that work?
It depends. Some tools that I use are not available in versions prior to CS3.
You will be able to follow most of the instructions but not always all of them.
Free 30 day trials of the new versions of the sofware are available at Adobe.
Are there more classes coming?
Yes, if you wish to subscribe to my mailing list, please email me and I will be sure to add you and let you know what is coming along.
Do you teach "real life" classes?
Yes, but not very often.
If you are interested in scheduling a private or small group workshop at my Studio in Long Island, NY, you can email me.
