The above piece was created using a series of photos that I took down in Albany (Western Australia) a few months ago. The pictures have been "tweaked" a bit to add some interest and dimension for this project.
I have always loved mastheads...they remain strong and focused no mater what they must endure:> This is a winderful series...the blue tones and posterized effect in the top piece are especially striking.
My name is Marie Otero. I'm a mixed media artist and spend my life hopping between my beloved Australia and the US. My current passion is digital art and photography, but I love to create new and fun stuff with almost anything I can lay my hands on.
Beautiful effects in the photo.

I especially enjoy the close up on top! It makes me curious of the function of these mast heads.

What a great way to go to sea - with someone always on the lookout!
