This week's them for Illustration Friday is SAFE...
and my contribution is the Darling Diva who stands high on her balcony 'Safe' from the paparazzi.
It's another combo deal where I have been playing with background textures made with hardware store goop and some pictures that I took in Arizona last week.
I've also been toying with converting some of said pix into brush sets with a view to making them downloadable at some point....we'll see!

So vivid - beautiful! What a great take on this topic. I love those bright colors with the silhouette of the balcony. Wonderful!

I haven't been around in a while..sorry:< This is stunning. I actually think it has a tribal look - perhaps because of the strong colors with the black linework in the foreground that makes me think of tribal tattoos. I also like the inclusion of what looks like grass and a tree branch. It's really gorgeous.

this is really cool, lots to look at. at first i thought it was barbed wire (although it's the prettiest barbed wire i've ever seen!), and she was trying to get to the other side! great image!
