Illustration Friday's Theme this week is GREEN. My contribution is thus, with the accompanying thoughts...
I can pretty much make Photoshop stand on it's head and do what I want, cook dinner, make coffee, you name it, its done but when it comes to using Illustrator I am always right behind the 8ball, and I'm getting quite frustrated. I've only myself to blame. I know that all I need to do is practice, but I am quite GREEN with envy over those who use it so seamlessly and with such careless grace.

Very clever! You are also very talented, doing things with Photoshop that are the best!

I have never been a fan of vector art. Practically no one can make art with it. No soul. Now your work on the other hand has soul to spare.

Great picture Marie.
Illustrator can be very frustrating to start with, I use it and Photoshop everyday at work, but it's getting better and the new upgrade CS3 has some great new features, I have it on order, it's moving closer to Photoshop. PS3 extended looks terrific too, it has a fabulous 3D filter for wrapping graphics around objects, that's also on order. I'll let you know what they're like.
I wish I could get Photoshop to make my coffee.

Well I've never been a defender of digital art, but I have to say that I like this one.

Well I don't know about Photoshop, but I know you don't have to be envious of anyone, for your work is really great. I love the woman's expression, the ink lines and the colouring.
