I recently got an iPad and it's a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to do things like get at files on Dropbox or another cloud service. And in the same boat that my Mac laptop's OS needs to go from some kind of lion to another which also means upgrading some of the software. Technology, isn't it wonderful?

I know exactly what you are talking about...thought I didn´t neeeeed one either ,,mmmmm until I got one as a Christmas present....omg, I am in love:):) it goes everywhere with me.

um, yeah, that page turning noise is a pain in the a**. ; )
I waited forever to upgrade to Lion and just recently did it & am so pleased. It was very easy and my laptop & desktop are both purring now when they had both become sluggish. So I recommend it. Plus it is really nice having all the devices syncing up so nicely. Also you can use iTunes to add photos and I think even Preview will work. I use Preview with my iPhone as it is so simple. Of course both are still Apple based. Have fun!

Ha! I laugh every time I see Kochie on Sunrise with his ipad in the crook of his arm - what for?????

I am sure the ipad will become an natural extension of your amazing creativity Marie - no doubt about it!

oh, but you just might miss "turning the page"
i did, when i started reading on the iPad :-)

I, too, have been avoiding getting an ipad. I wish they would take an sd card!

:-)

I love the convenience of toting several books on my iPad. I don't use it for photo stuff and feel guilty about that (heck, I rarely use thew camera on my iPhone).

I love photos like these

love your choice of books! have fun.
