the text on this collage reads... what I feel, a wild exuberance, emphasis on the interior life...make it more.
Probably some intuitive response to all the blah blah I have going on at the moment, but who knows? The goop collages seem to arrive with a will of their own and I daresay some Freudian introspective could read deep and delightful meaning into what ends up on my paper.
I said goodbye to my best Charlotte friend - Mary, tonight. No tears, as for some reason I don't feel like I am saying farewell. Mary and I have been fast friends from the moment we set eyes upon each other several years ago - one of those quaint, oft despised "internet" hook-ups that has proved to be the saving grace for each of us. I wish her well in her new home in Michigan and will hold her to a promise to come and vist Australia with me next year!!!
I arrived back home from dinner with Mary to find my Sweetie flaked out on the couch. I have come to the conclusion that 14 hours a day in the name of corporate goodwill is pushing the limit. Folk in this country need to take a leaf (or a whole jolly book for that matter) out of the Aussie manual...where what happens before 8am and after 5pm is your OWN business and not schtuff you do for the big kahuna...(and I am sure that one will get me shot down in flames)
Ergo... life, make it more (than just work)
