We drove up to see my Mum yesterday. She lives in Manjimup, some 200kms north of Albany. It might not seem terribly sensible, but it is way much colder up there than it is down here - I have come to the conclusion that I am now totally spoiled by living with Central Heating!!!
While I was at Mum's I snapped some kewl pics of the bit and pieces in her garden and orchard. This lovely late rose amongst them.
On our way home we stopped at the local grocery store to pick up some of the winter produce - namely manderines and apples. They grow in abundance around here and the ones we bought today have not been anywhere near the market..direct from the farmer to me!! That is what you can call truly FRESH FRUIT!!
69c/ per kilogramme for the green ones and 99c per kilo for the Red!
I wonder if customs would have a problem with few pounds of each?
and last one for the day...
