Well, I am back in the northern half of the world, missing my small men already and wondering how things are going for the start of their new school year.
I know there are many of you who cannot fathom why I do this with my children, but trust me, it's a hard but well thought out choice and not one that I make lightly! But if you are interested, the clincher was the day my oldest boy started middle school here in the US and had to walk through a metal detector to get to his classroom.... enuff said!
Aside from cleaning up all the dust bunnies that have mysteriously accumulated in my absence and entertaining any one of the five cats in succession on my lap, I am well into catching up on the long list of art projects that are due.
I have work to send in for a couple of books (yes, I know those darn hush hush things were no-one shows you what they are doing 'cos it's secret ! Ha!). Some round robin projects, work for the ICE-10 exhibition, a set of postcard swaps for a group I belong to and then just for fun, one that I found on FLICKR for Valentine's day. I think I may use the mailart I made for today's post for some of those cards.
And....if you have bothered to read this far, I also owe Seth a post for "pay it forward" and just so that I can kill two birds with one stone I will combine that fun little giveaway with the one that Lisa Oceandreamer is running for One World One Heart.
So stay tuned, I will post the details of that tomorrow. For now it's time for bed "said Zeberdee" ... yawn, yawn, as the jetlag catches hold! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Welcome back safely to USA! Have a nice weekend and greetings to Rick! Your stamp is so wonderful. Would like to have your talent in digital artwork!!!!
