Behind the scenes I am doing some boring Video chores, so while files were rendering and I was twiddling my thumbs I decided to "play" a little and create an entry for Illustration Friday. Their theme this week is Artificial. I think my Vintage Manga Mamma meets the criteria and it was fun to cook up a little bit of silliness.

Recently, LA Convention Center had a Manga convention and I tried to explain what that was to my partner, and I couldn't, so I wikipedia'd it, and I still didn't know how to explain it, so then I listened to a podcast about it, and it wasn't clear to me, so then I found a blog about it, and...
well, I've learned that the more one knows about it, the less one knows. Therefore, I salute your illustration.
