... that my Christmas Tree is still not up and aside from a few Pointsettia gracing the hearth and some Cranberry candles perfuming the air - the house looks no different to usual!
I suppose there is still time to do something festive, but to be honest, with the boys not here this year, I just do not have the heart.
I may just content myself with decorating the blog in festive garb - as I am working on the new class for January, and Photoshop seems to be on the boil non-stop.
Oh and if you would like to look at pictures without the distraction of dialogue - check out my TUMBLR blog. It's a little haven of new stuff that has no relevance here.
This is such a pretty snowflake/Christmas tree ball, mandala! I really like this a lot. I'm putting it on my desktop for the rest of the year.
I'm sorry your babies can't be with you!! I'm off to check out your other blog now. I can't comment from there, but I know I'm going to like your style!

I can imagine doing things quite differently if my children weren't counting on me to create the Christmas they love and expect.
I went to your Tumbler site and love your painting of the forlorn child. Sad, yet beautiful.
Looking forward to the class in January, and already grateful for the work you are putting into it now.

Awe, this is my first Christmas without a "child" in the house too. But one is quite close so I did all my usual decorating except for taping mini lights on my kitchen bay window, because I never enjoyed doing it, I just liked seeing them. However, my cards have not been written or mailed! Good grief. I am so far behind in blogging I may never catch up, so what can I blame it on??? I know...Old Age! **minty kisses** P.S. I love your card! Thank you so much!

I suspect you're not alone with the whole decorating thing. Times and seasons, sometimes we just have to make adjustments to our traditions.
Love your art work on Tumblr!
Wishing you and your DH joy and good cheer this Christmas
