After enjoying what I thought was a cracker of a good sleep on Sunday night, Monday passed without narry a yawn until about 10pm whereupon I promptly fell asleep on the couch until 2:30am.
Prompted and prodded to bed by DH I crawled between the covers not long after and lay there, eyes wide open for about an hour. Finally I grabbed my iPhone and twiddled under the covers with it for about an hour, reading email, pottering around iTunes and updating Apps before giving up, getting up and heading to the studio which is where I have been eversince..... clock reads 7:33am
As I am supposed to be doing some volunteer work at the Long Island Art League this afternoon I probably need to catch a nap............
Wouldn't that be nice!
Welcome back!

Great photo capturing the mood of the season. Jet lag can really knock a body around, bit of a shame when travel can be so much fun.

It's so odd to me how hard it was to catch up with sleep after my trip to Paris, but the trip there was no problem at all! But considering the change in the weather for you, it must have been quite a challenge!

Beautiful shot. I think it represents jet lag well! Hope you are sleeping by now. **kisskiss** Deb

There is a lovely homeopathic remedy that mimics melatonin - the stuff the brain makes to regulate your wake cycles and circadian rhythm.
three drops of that and your out like a light.
No drugs.
I took it to the last US trip and it worked a charm.
Here you have to get a doctor to prescribe it, but I think in the US it may be over the counter.
