Thx for stopping by the blog :-) He is driving, even though he is not supposed to. Long story about how much he misses taking our daughter Claire to breakfast on Saturdays (she is an adult with disabilities and could not understand why dad was not around!)

The music thing, I have gone over to silence lately and I can't figure out why. Maybe there is just too much commotion in my life at the moment. I ALWAYS listened to Casey Kasem and I kept my transistor radio under my pillow at night to listen to CKLW - ages ago.

Amy will be missed, for certain a tragedy.

PS Love the anniversary Postcard! We will celebrate our 30th on 8/8

I have never really liked her that much. she died too young, that is for sure, but for he I think it is the best, she was way off balance

I almost never have music on when I'm creating. I have to dance a lot. But I know what you mean. When I baked, I always had music on. It's so amazing. And it has memory second only to scent.

It is very sad about Amy. And when I read that she was 27, I just stopped in my tracks. What is it about that age? Cobain, Hendrix, Joplin, Bonham, Morrison, a few others whose names escape me at the moment, all went at 27.

I love the role-reversal of someone letting your kid know that you were playing the music too loud. I too am saddened by yet another bright star that went out too soon and am all the more happy to have experienced the little bit of her that we got.

YEs, I could not believe it. What a voice! and way toooo young. Why do you think I live out in the countryside..........I can play my music as loud as I want:)

Awe, Marie, another love we have in common. I posted an older version of Amy singing Valerie. In fact, I've been singing it since I heard the sad news. I only hope that people will remember her for her gift. **kisses** Deb

I couldn't live without music and Amy was a true talent with a much too short life.
