No, it's not creamy white icing atop a blue cake, this is a massive sand dune, towering above the Indian Ocean at Lancelin, Western Australia. Absolutely magnificent.
Today I took a road trip to the Pinnacles and as part of the trip I got to see someI Koala's, Kangaroos, Lobsters, walked in the desert and topped the day off with some high powered off roading 4-wheel driving and sand-boarding.
I'll post more pics tomorrow as my computer is having a bit of a nervy tonight ... but yeah, I get out (now and then) .... hehe!
Marie, this shot is breathtaking! You live in a photographer's paradise. Someday, I'd love to visit Australia. Hugs, Terri

WHAT? 4-wheeling and sand boarding?! I must see this. I one time was standing on a chair and I got dizzy and changed my plans.
This photo is getting printed and used as decoration in my home.
It's just my way.

No wonder Matisse had to create a line of acrylics just for Australia's landscapes. Creamy sands and brilliant blue ocean and then there is the Pinnacles! I never cease to be amazed by this country's uniqueness. Glad you are having a grand time of it!
