I can only put one picture up on my desktop at a time!!
Dear Marie;
Do you know that yours is one of the only two blogs I read while I'm working on a project? I can't do my blog surfing while I'm in the middle of a big project, and I don't know why. But I must see what you're doing because you post so often and everything is so different and lovely that I can't not look at it. And now that I'm finally done with my project and I've posted, I come over here and find out that
EEK!!
I've missed two! Not one!
I think maybe I'm going to have to schedule Lost Aussie in my outlook calendar. By half-days.
Beautiful b/w. You did an amazing job with the textures. I'm way behind in my blog reading but I see you've had a full week. love the dancing shoes piece, somehow you've managed to tell the gritty truth of pain and hard work and still keep the beauty of the dance. Magic...
My name is Marie Otero. I'm a mixed media artist and spend my life hopping between my beloved Australia and the US. My current passion is digital art and photography, but I love to create new and fun stuff with almost anything I can lay my hands on.
I am loving all of your painterly work - this is gorgeous!
