Today I joined up with one of my Long Island Meetup groups to go and take wildlife pictures at the Bailey Arboretum. There they host a wildlife rescue operation that tends to a variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. Many of their rescue animals are rehabilitated and set free back into the wild, but others, for one reason or another have been given a permanent home there.
It's a beautiful estate to walk on and it was a fantastic opportunity to be able to work with the volunteers and take some wonderful pictures of the animals they care for.
Wonderful animal pics and the last with Marie ist also very cool :)

Great photos but ugh, I do not like possums! I do love owls though. Maybe they eat possums... I actually had to look up whether it's possum or oposum and found that in America, I should be using the "O". Australia has the cute possums as you can see here: http://www.bobinoz.com/blog/4013/possums-and-opossums-australia-and-america-all-explained/

Oh! oh! OHOHOHOHOH OH! I want to paint them all! Those owls are just too amazing to be real! And the raptors! The dragonfly (how can I resist!) and the froggie - all of them are just superbly captured Marie.
Well done you!!!
